Sag Chicken

A lovely version of a curry-house favourite, this uses our Bangladesh spice blend to create a healthy and delicious meal! Add some fresh chillies if you want something a little hotter. serves 4-6

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 1 carton Bangladesh spice blend

  • 300ml ‘secret sauce’

  • 1 tin tomatoes, blended

  • 700g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 300g potatoes, cut into pieces and par-boiled

  • 2 handfuls chopped spinach

  1. Heat the oil and gently fry the spices until fragrant.

  2. Add the ‘secret sauce’ and tomatoes, bring to the boil and then lower to a simmer. Cook for about an hour.

  3. Add the potatoes and chicken and spinach and heat through until cooked.

  4. Add the spinach and serve once wilted.
